This site exists so you can browse listings and reach Chuck. We collect the minimum needed to do that well. Here is the plain-English version of what happens with your information.
What we collect
Contact details you submit through forms on this site — your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in a message field (for example, when requesting a home evaluation, asking about a listing, or signing up for listing alerts).
Basic usage analytics — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use this to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry. Form submissions are delivered to Chuck and his team by email and stored in our customer relationship system so we can follow up with you about your real estate needs.
To send you listing updates if you asked for them. Every email includes an unsubscribe option.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
We use a privacy-focused analytics tool (PostHog) to measure site usage. It may set cookies or use local storage to distinguish visits. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Social media connections
This site's back office can connect to Chuck's own Facebook Page through Meta's official login. That connection accesses only Chuck's business Page — it is used to manage and publish content to that Page, and it does not collect any information about site visitors' Facebook accounts.
Where your data lives
The site is hosted on Vercel. Form submissions and site data are stored with our infrastructure providers (including Supabase and our CRM). All providers are bound by their own security and privacy commitments, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your contact information for as long as it is useful for serving you as a client or prospect.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email chuckg@chucktownhomes.com with the subject "Data request" and we will action it within 30 days. This also applies to any data associated with a social-media connection — request deletion at the same address.
