“I'm a builder, and I built a beautiful home in the Dunes West area of Mount Pleasant. I thought that I could sell the home myself, so I listed it as FSBO for $2,000,000. Over a few weeks, I had several people interested, but the offers were all low-ball. I decided to interview area brokers — I interviewed nine in total. Chuck was number nine. After meeting him, I cancelled the rest. He listed the home at $2,250,000. After the first open house drew zero visitors on a stormy weekend, I was not happy, and I made that known.
